Scott Mitchell Rosenberg is the Chairman and CEO of Platinum Studios, Inc., an entertainment company that controls one of the largest independent libraries of comic book characters. Rosenberg as producer, with Platinum Studios, adapts comic books for film, television, merchandising and all other forms media. Rosenberg established Platinum Studios in 1997, following a highly successful career as the founder of Malibu Comics, which Rosenberg sold to Marvel in 1994. At Malibu Comics, Scott Mitchell Rosenberg broke every sales and marketing record known to independent comic publishing and led many successful comic book spin-offs into toys, tv, and feature films, including signing the billion-dollar live action film and animated television franchise, Men in Black, with Sony Pictures.Scott Rosenberg has released films and tv programming with Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, DreamWorks Films, MGM, Showtime, and Lionsgate, and has developed with Disney, Time-Warner’s New Line Films, 20th Century Fox and Sony Pictures Entertainment.Scott Rosenberg often teams with other producers including Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, and the producers of Harry Potter, Shrek, Batman Begins and Teenage Mutant Turtles.
