Growing up Mexican American Scott made a conscious effort to help comics of color to be showcased on broadcast mainstream television and he has made this his mandate. Scott's first major hit was Paramount Pictures The Original Latin Kings of Comedy. Since 2002 Scott Montoya has produced and directed over 80 stand-up comedy specials that have played to well over 100 million Showtime viewers nationwide. Scott established Laugh Out Loud Comedy, inc. in 2009. Through Scott’s LOL Comedy Inc. and lolflix, Inc. Scott has helped propel many new faces into the spotlight and many comics landed their first comedy special with Scott to then go onto great success.
