I am currently the head of import / export legal compliance globally (16 countries) for the IMI Critical Engineering division of companies, including IMI B&R, IMI CCI, IMI China, IMI InterAtiva, IMI Int'l Russia, IMI Orton, IMI Remosa, IMI STI, IMI Truflo Rona, IMI Truflo Marine and IMI Z&J. In addition to my primary compliance role, I also frequently lead special business process redesign and implementation projects.

Global head of import and export compliance and logistics for Control Components Inc. (CCI). In this role I developed and managed complaince and operations programs for trade and technology transfers between CCI and its global customer base to and from CCI locations in the US, Mexico, Canada, Austria, Czech Republic, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, China, India, Korea and Japan with a staff of 22 direct reports spread across these countries.

I was with KPMG for over 6 years, originally working as the primary Business Analyst responsible for enhancing the online trade compliance tool CUSTOMS Info™ before joining KPMG's Trade and Customs practice. As part of KPMG’s Trade & Customs practice, I specialized in the design of import and export processes and controls, Customs valuation, assessing compliance with import and export regulations around the world and with managing remedial action projects to mitigate the exposure due to violations of trade regulations. I have worked with clients from a diverse range of industries and lead or participated in several multi-national project teams.

Within a few months in this role, I significantly reduced the average number of days outstanding for all invoices, thereby improving cash-flow by an estimated $1.5M per year.
