At Love Communications I was responsible for concept and executing advertising campaigns for many small to mid-sized clients including fast food, technology, medical, and government health. The program is not required for any class or credit - I was self motivated to get involved and take responsibility for campaigns. Through the Adlab I was give a crash course in working directly with clients, meeting deadlines, and working in creative teams. I found that this was invaluable training for my future career.

I worked on campus as a student designer to develop advertising and graphics to promote the Pre Professional Advisement Center, which aids students who are studying law, medicine, and business management. Tasked with reaching thousands of students on a limited budget, this job helped me develop my guerrilla advertising skills. Through my efforts, student involvement in Advisement Center events increased significantly from previous years.

Two month internship with one of Chicago's fastest growing agencies. Worked on ConAgra with products including Marie Calendar's, Slim Jim and Orville Redenbacher Pop Corn. Work included concepting campaigns and promotions, and graphic design. This internship gave me a chance to see what work in an agency is like, and helped me learn to develop consistent design across multiple products, to follow brand standards, and the details of packaging design.

At Richter7 I was embedded with the digital ad team. There I learned the ins and outs of display ad design, HTML email programming, and web site design. Working closely with web design professionals gave me experience to broaden my skills past what I was learning as an Art director. This has helped spark my interest in further programing skills such as HTML and CSS coding.
