With an increased focus in maximising opportunities within the Mobile TV & Video space, my role has evolved to focus specifically on:- Mobile TV Services including FOXTEL by Mobile, BigPond Live Events- Mobile Video and Audio On-Demand Services including BigPond Portal & OnDemand- Core Service Delivery Frameworks And PlatformsMy core responsibilities include the defining of strategic product roadmaps, the formation and definition of business requirements, product development processes and activities from concept to commercial launch and evolution, and standard lifecycle management of existing products.The role requires specific interactions with all parts of the Telstra business, including strategic and segment marketing, legal and regulatory departments, BigPond content managers, wireless network, content and IT engineering groups, corporate sourcing, finance groups, customer care, public relations and senior managment teams.

In my previous role, I look after the product management portfolio of mobile video, audio and broadcast service capabilities for Telstra.Key activities during this time:* Oversaw the product launch of video-on-demand and audio-on-demand streaming services for Telstra's 2100Mhz 3GSM launch.* Instrumental in the definition and ongoing evolution of the key service enablers that underpin the delivery of these services * One of the key instigators for Telstra's recent DVB-H trial (movemedia) in Sydney in combination with trial partner Broadcast Australia.* Product Manager for the Telstra 3G Commonwealth Games live streaming service.* Product Manager for the Telstra DVB-H Commonwealth Games showcase.

In this role, I was one of the key technical delivery specialists involved in the *then* embryonic wireless data content services in Telstra. I oversaw many content service projects, spanning across:* SMS/MMS/USSD* WAP* J2ME, BREW and Symbian clients and applications* Evaluation of new products and services.and was a key SME/stakeholder/project member in regards to the development of platforms that underpinned the delivery of these services.
