Management & Production LLC successfully performs contract, freelance, entrepreneurial, and charitable work. 2021-24 has been a period of rapid growth with both new and long established clientele. 2019 was a great year working with the Beast Coast NYC Hip Hop collective, FYGU/Amazon Campus Festival Tour, and Drivin' N' Cryin' after 2018 tours with Dwight Yoakam, Steve Earle, Lucinda Williams, and more. For 5 years prior, I worked internationally as Tour Manager for Blackberry Smoke on their headlining tour and as support to The Zac Brown Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Eric Church, Govt Mule, and more.Proud to have produced the successful 2014 documentary film "Scarred but Smarter (life n times of drivin' n' cryin')". The movie was both critically acclaimed and financially successful. It's available on DVD via MVD or streaming on Amazon Prime. In previous years, I worked on the production staff for several large feature films shot in Atlanta. In 2010, I started an Atlanta Braves fan campaign which celebrates it's 10th year in 2020; the popular "Thanks Bobby!" movement. We've raised over $12,000 for charity and have over 72K followers on social media. We cover "All Things Braves" in honor of Hall of Fame manager, Bobby Cox.Before that, I was on the management team that helped The Blind Boys of Alabama have a successful album campaign for “Down In New Orleans” (Time-Life) which led to their winning two GRAMMY Awards and two GMA Dove Awards in 2009. I also had an impact on the revitalization of Marty Stuart’s career. In just two years as the day-to-day manager for Stuart, we coordinated five (5!) album release campaigns including the GRAMMY-nominated “Live At The Ryman”. I was simultaneously on the management team for both Shooter Jennings and Kathy Mattea. I was the Executive Producer of “WAGONMASTER,” the critically acclaimed 'victory lap' final record from Country Music Hall of Famer, Porter Wagoner. Before that, I owned/operated Perfect Pitch Management for many years; steering the successful careers of artists including the Drive-By Truckers, Kevn Kinney, Patterson Hood, and Jason Isbell. I spent eight years (1997-2005) as Tour Manager for legendary Southern alt-rockers, drivin’ n’ cryin' and recently returned to that role for 2 years (2018 & 2019) based on our prior successes.I started at WUOG 90.5FM & the 40 Watt Club while attending The University of Georgia in Athens.I am an Eagle Scout and brotherhood member of The Order Of The Arrow.
