My practice is focused on U.S. and foreign patent prosecution. My goal is to quickly and efficiently obtain commercially valuable patents for clients. In the U.S., I work hard to obtain allowable subject matter without filing a request for continued examination (RCE). One way I do this is by aggressively appealing baseless rejections to avoid filing multiple RCEs that do little to advance prosecution. Another way I do this is by identifying commercially significant differences between the invention and the prior art and reciting those differences in additional dependent claims.My practice also includes analyzing and providing patent opinions such as product clearance opinions, non-infringement/invalidity opinions, litigation pre-filing assessments, patent related merger and acquisition due diligence, and patentability opinions.I have a degree in chemical engineering.
