Trusted senior advisor focused on the strategic growth and financial analysis of the Litigation and Financial Industry practice groups, spanning seven domestic and international locations. Responsible for coordinating all administrative aspects of the firm’s litigation department, consisting of over 100 attorneys and 50 support staff, across all offices including:• Participating in the development of a strategic plan to explore expansion into different markets and industries• Spearheading firm-wide initiative to employ the use of Alternative Fee Arrangements• Participating in annual billable rate review• Reviewing monthly workload and utilization reports for all litigation attorneys• Coordinating mid-cycle and year-end reviews of associates and counsel; assisting with associate and counsel compensation process• Developing and maintaining the department budget; reviewing all department expense reports and vendor invoices• Working directly with accounting to address issues relating to accounts receivable• Participating in recruiting and orientation of all litigation hires• Working with marketing to develop practice group marketing materials• Reviewing and maintaining Lowenstein’s preferred vendor list• Coordinating all projects involving contract/temporary personnel for the firm including selecting appropriate personnel, coordinating review logistics including billing, technology, conflicts and orientation; monitoring projects closely by reviewing metrics and adjusting as appropriate• Reviewing all Litigation Support protocol to ensure the effective management of client and firm data while minimizing risk to the firm• Developing internal educational campaign to help Litigation attorneys understand e-discovery and the risk associated with noncompliance

Counseled lending institutions and retail establishments on compliance issues relating to state and federal lending laws. Focused on litigation avoidance while providing resolution strategies to commercial entities to efficiently resolve conflicts with vendors and consumers. Developed successful and profitable consulting practices, as well as providing extensive litigation support to the Firm’s current client base in the defense of consumer fraud matters, personal injury, premises liability and product liability matters. Handled all aspects of various litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal.

Responsible for handling a large caseload representing financial institutions in consumer fraud litigation and commercial transactions from appearance through trial and verdict. Counseled financial clientele to ensure compliance with state and federal consumer lending and credit laws. Practice also included the defense of premises liability and personal injury matters, as well as enforcing creditors’ rights in secured transactions.
