About Scott Miller

I'm currently focusing 100% of my energies to help mitigate the impacts of climate change.From now through the end of the 2024 US elections, I will work with Climate Changemakers to help get-out-the-vote (GOTV) for national, state, and local climate-champions.After the US elections, I will dive deep into the intersection of electric utilities, the energy industry, government, business, and climate organizations to help accelerate the transition away from fossil fuels to clean energy, away from the century-old centralized electric utility model to more distributed production, storage, and consumption.For 25 years, I've been a product-focused business person (and x-lawyer) who combines experience, education, and passion to take new products to market, invent disruptive global partnerships, build new business models, teams, and programs to scale partnerships, sales, and revenue. Most often, my teams and I have built these businesses and programs from scratch.I've been fortunate to have had leadership roles, extremely positive team cultures, and generous mentors in building $1b revenue businesses (Skype and WhatsApp), $8b financial exits (Skype, TransferWise), and successful IPOs (Boingo and TransferWise).
