Lead the Instrumentation Valve Division in a rapid continuous improvement change at 3 manufacturing sites located in the state of Alabama. I progressed from a site Lean Manufacturing Manager to now a Divisional Lean Manager / Six Sigma Blackbelt over the past 3 years. Through mentoring and teaching Toyota Production System principles I have participated in driving results such as: Inventory Reductions of 60% or $5.5 Million, Customer Satisfaction improvement from 58% to 96%, Productivity Improvement from 125K sales per associates to 170K+ and an increase in the Profit Sharing payout from 3.7% to 13.

-2000 Alabama Quality Award Winner.-2000 Quest for Excellence Award winner.-Distribution Resource Planning System Superuser.-Designed policies for Anniston inventories.-Mentored a two-bin lean project resulting in a $250K reduction for expense hardware.-Lead US Airways greenbelt teams through joint administration turn around time reduction project.-Conducted training classes for Microsoft Access database design.-Created and implemented Quarterly identification of Excess & Obsolete inventories using stratification models.-Taught Green Belt courses and Total Quality courses to both Anniston and Anniston Depot associates-Black Belt support for Aerospace 2000 Quest for Excellence Event. -Responsible for $500K reduction to inventory in 2000, and $750K in 2001.-Aligned inventories through stratification ABC models generating savings of $400K.

-Mentored 3 Quality greenbelt teams resulting in 1.7M in the reduction of new and rework inventory while increasing the margins.-1999 Alabama Quality Award Winner.-Designed and Programmed Anniston’s receiving software yielding an 80% reduction in process time while decreasing defects by 70% to production.-Designed and Programmed software enabling Anniston to efficiently capture Non-Conforming detail product data generating savings of $250K annually.-Mentored the Operations and Six Sigma Continuous leader through their Blackbelt certification projects.-Mentored productivity project with leading external supplier yielding in $900K of productivity savings .
