CurrentServe on Executive Committee with Owner and President directing and implementing all strategic and daily decisions for company. Manage 11 team members within Accounting, Internal Audit, Benefits / HR, and Lottery operations. Direct corporate accounting / reporting, M&A, budgeting, and Federal / State / Local tax administration/planning, preparation, and filing. Oversee corporate banking including financing acquisitions / real estate purchases, managing loan covenants, and execution of weekly payroll for 220 employees in 4 different companies. Administer employee benefit plans, including membership in a Captive Health Insurance group, and administer 401k and Profit Sharing Plan. Ensure successful management of HR functions including complying with the Affordable Care Act (ACA), oversee employee counseling, handbook updates, workers compensation / unemployment audits / appeals, and compliance with DOL and other government agencies.
