Vice President Of Strategic Marketing
CurrentAs the first VP of Strategic Marketing in WGS history my job is to lead the marketing function for our organization for both ecommerce/digital and our retail stores as well as all of our business lines. I will report to the CEO / President and be a key leader in transforming this omni-channel retailer into a future-ready customer experience organization that happens to do business in golf. As a member of the executive team, I will oversee the marketing strategy and execution for the whole company. Mission critical areas for my role will be building the right team and implementing best-in-class processes that are required to win over consumers, build deep loyalty and achieve hyper growth goals in a digital world. My role will oversee all marketing functions, including creative, customer acquisition, loyalty, brand marketing, in-house agency, TV, Radio, digital marketing investments, martech stack, product management of digital products and services. I am thrilled at the opportunity to largely define the future of this retailer by creating purposeful and distinct brand positioning, leading customer engagement and owning the customer journey. I have been tasked with building brand awareness and equity, driving traffic, converting customers, and maximizing lifetime value through the company’s near 100 retail stores across the countryand portfolio of e-commerce websites.Worldwide Golf Shops is a privately owned, multi-brand specialty golf retailer that has been in business over 50 years.
