As the R&D Director at Corruven, I led the groundbreaking project to bring the inventor's vision of corrugated wood to life through the development of the 'corrugator.' Starting with a prototype in 2012, we advanced to a full-scale production line capable of corrugating sheets of wood up to 5 feet wide and over 300 feet long. This achievement marked a historical first in the industry, under my guidance, showcasing our commitment to innovation and the realization of novel, sustainable material solutions.

Starting my journey at GOW as a co-op student in 2002, I rapidly ascended through the ranks to become the Production Manager, where I led a diverse team of 30 professionals, including welders, machinists, painters, and assemblers. My tenure has been marked by overseeing the production of a wide array of products, from potato harvesting equipment to food industry conveyors, asphalt plants, and structural steel projects. This role not only showcased my ability to manage complex manufacturing processes but also my dedication to contributing to the company's growth and innovation in various sectors.

At Forotek, my career began at the age of 16, marking my first significant foray into the workforce beyond earlier positions at gas stations. Starting in the manufacturing shop, I embarked on a journey of learning and growth, acquiring a diverse set of mechanical skills including welding, assembling large equipment, machining, and understanding hydraulics and pneumatics. Initially hired as a cleaner, my passion for mechanical design and engineering flourished, transforming me from a young employee into a dedicated individual eager to delve deeper into the field of engineering.
