Responsible for the maintenance of, development for, and improvements of all technical aspects of the radio station.* Kept the radio station online in compliance with CRTC Broadcast License with an estimated 99% uptime for on-air broadcasting.* Creatively solved problems with a limited IT budget, providing solutions comparable to that of the industry standard at up to an 80% cost reduction* Delivering technical support for over 50 radio show hosts and approximately 20 CiTR staff who posses mostly limited technical proficiencies* Patched and implemented bug fixes for CiTR's custom applications used for archiving audio, creating podcast audio, interfacing with radio automation software, and automating file transfers.* Built a robust, virtualized system to read and broadcast any number of local Livewire AoIP signals over standard internet radio streams with 100% uptime outside of power outages, providing increased flexibility with deploying temporary streams, and reducing complexity in performing maintenance on connected systems.* Developed software for DJland, an open source radio station management project maintained by CiTR.
