The primary role of the Analyst, Technical position is to serve as a resource and knowledge base for MIS concepts as they relate to architecture, stability, performance, and printing. I am greatly involved in the direction of our group and supported products.I am project lead relaying technical knowledge of various subject matters to our client base.I will oversee large scale, cross divisional, long-term projectsI organize integrated efforts that touch upon a variety of applications/platforms to facilitate technical discussion and prioritization of issues for meetings with executives, Development, or our customer base.I serve as the point person for new functionality and applications, which include, but are not limited to: -Coordinating implementations with Early Adopters -Facilitating the transfer of knowledge to the support teams via training and documentation -Contributing to vision/goals for the company and bringing them to fruition -Contributing to the success of the the company's strategic initiatives via strong leadership and focused efforts -Taking initiative to seek out information on healthcare industry topics in order to provide recommendations, facilitate discussion, and provide education.

Management Information System; overseeing the performance and set up of MEDITECH's software in application by medical facilities and ensuring both proper use. Additionally, along with supporting multiple system maintenance routines, serving as the first point of contact with customers when partial or complete system failure occurs and taking necessary steps to resolve these issues so that hospital operations may resume as normal. In the MIS position I am responsible for managing both application and PC performance issues. I have knowledge of both MEDITECH and non-MEDITECH software performance monitoring tool. With my role I posses a knowledge of how PC performance can have an impact on a customer's MEDITECH software and what end users can expect when working in the software, based on how their servers are performing. As an MIS specialist, I am effectively at the epicenter of all functions within MEDITECH. I understand how all pieces of the software are linked togethers, and what systems are relient upone each other. With this knowledge, I thus am able to see the big picture and better troubleshoot problems that customers encounter. This also has provided the oppertunity for me to work with virtually all other groups here at MEDITECH and continued my growth as a team player and leader.
