Over the past few years, I've worked on numerous projects related to machine learning, optimization, operations research, and scam and fraud detection and mitigation. I've worked on optimizing the response to cascading failures in power grids, managing air traffic control, optimizing the assembly operations required to build physical products, and building software for evaluating and testing vehicle performance. At eBay, I worked on the Trust Science team creating a variety of supervised and unsupervised models for protecting our cusomers and preventing bad or fraudulent experiences. I have end-to-end model development experience, from the intial identification of a product need to rolling that product out to production and maintaining it. I have extensive experence with natural language processing (NLP) problems.My programming (including Java, C/C++, C#, Python, and Matlab), data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programmings skills are excellent. I love problem solving of all kinds. I am proficient with writing simulations, and operations research and logistics applications as well.I am looking for opportunities in industry where I can contribute to emerging technologies, and continue to learn and grow as a scientist, researcher, and programmer.
