Member of an Agile development team that builds and maintains the AARP website (www.aarp.org). Acquired extensive experience using and testing the Adobe CQ CMS system used to generate content for a large non-profit website. Facilitated processing of User Stories as they moved from design, to development, to completion during a 3 week Scrum cycle.- Charged with doing all QA on Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows8 apps, as well as the mobile version of AARP’s website.- Responsible for doing QA on published pages of AARPs website as well as testing parts of the CMS authoring system.- Helped oversee and collaborate with an offshore automation QA team based in India.  Integrated and tested 3rd party JS/CSS/HTML on AARP’s website.

Designed and maintained the company website for a personal training and group fitness business. Designed and coded a custom customer database solution using FileMaker Pro. The database tracks various customer information, appointments, and account payment details, as well as generating mailing lists, reports, etc.Designed and coded a custom screen saver for computers used at facility using Quartz Composer.Responsible for buying, installing, and maintaining the A/V and computer systems at the facility.Responsible for the design and creation of company marketing, promotional and informational materials.

Lead Architect for AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) for Macintosh. Successfully led a team of 6+ programmers in a complete rewrite of AIM for Apple’s Classic and Carbon environments while providing a more organized and extensible base for future development. Responsible for all architecture and user interface design, and oversaw all coding. Spearheaded greater integration of development and QA teams to improve software development cycle and product quality. My work resulted in two patents being filed.

Managed all AOL online service client releases: Macintosh and Windows, Domestic and International. Handled development and release cycle to ship over 10 AOL clients in various languages. Ran all aspects of development as well as integration with the Quality Assurance and Internationalization departments. Oversaw both Macintosh and Windows client teams (20+ programmers and architects).

Solely responsible for coding specific areas of AOL’s Macintosh client including: Mail, Instant Messaging, Personal Filing Cabinet (i.e. a database for mail, downloads, message board posts, etc.), HTML encoding and decoding, QuickTime multimedia support including both playing and editing sound and video, custom text engine support including embedded multimedia elements, and User Interface design and implementation. My work led to a patent being filed.

Solely responsible for coding specific areas of Dialog’s online client for both Macintosh and Windows including: custom text engine support with embedded multimedia elements, Spell Checker, User Interface design and implementation, all native platform coding for both Macintosh and Windows. Successfully shipped Dialog’s first GUI based clients.

Coded and shipped a suite of 6 applications used in research grade psychology testing and evaluation. Oversaw 3 programmers.
