Compliance Team Lead
Current• Review and analyze compliance monitoring reports and other source documents such as USM subcontractor agreements, general liability and workers compensation insurance, endorsements and W-9’s. Check reports for accuracy and completeness. Research possible fraudulent documentation.• Coordinate schedules with subcontracted service providers in order to obtain compliance documentation prior to expiration.• Work closely with Senior Level Members, Procurement, Legal, Operations and other internal and external groups as required.• Point of contact for the processing and invoicing of background checks conducted on subcontracted service providers. Make sure required subcontractors are correctly set up to process their necessary background checks. Ensure all background checks are being run properly and uploaded into the system. • Verify W-9’s for accuracy prior to contractor set ups. Upload the necessary information or contact the contractor for corrected paperwork if discrepancies arise. Obtain the paperwork for any contractor business name changes.• In charge of maintaining up to date supplier diversity certificates of subcontractors.• Conduct routine internal and external audits to verify procedures are being followed.• Create change requests to make updates to the USM proprietary system.
