I’m proud to have been an integral part of the marketing team that helped significantly grow Haas from the company’s early stages. I have been responsible for providing strategic marketing management and a full spectrum of editing services for the entire product line. I also helped conceive and implement an innovative, consumer-directed approach to product marketing that permanently changed the way competitors – and the entire machine tool industry – market products. » I currently serve as the company’s product branding contact, working with a group of writers, photographers, graphic artists, and designers to produce impactful marketing materials and online collateral. We create an extensive line of printed materials for the company, including brochures, press releases, product data sheets, price lists, direct-mail campaigns, internal newsletters, machine signs, and tradeshow booth graphics. I regularly work with Engineering Managers and Sales Product Managers to review specifications and verify product information, pricing, and descriptions, and I spearhead all translation needs and corresponding SAP tracking for product marketing in 11 languages. » Other main areas of responsibility include tradeshow engagements, serving as the Lead Commercial Photographer for the company, and also shooting, editing, and producing videos to be used for web posting and online marketing.★ I am particularly proud to have served as the Senior Editor, head writer, and chief photographer for the company’s highly successful and industry-leading CNC Machining magazine, published from 1998 to 2016. I directed the editorial content strategy and primary production aspects of the magazine, which became one of the highest circulated trade publications in the machine tool industry. We published a total of 53 issues, at more than 100k in circulation, over 18 years.
