Setting up and using Low CLEARANCE Clamshell Lathes of various sizes to sever and bevel carbon and stainless steel spoolsSetting up and using portable flange facing machines these include 012, 6-30, 14-45 and quick face for work on raised faces, Ring Type Joints (RTJ) and Hubs.Fully disassemble and assembly of pipe flanges and gaskets using hand, hydraulic and tensioning methods working to company specific torque settings and safety procedures.

As a site manager my primary responsibility is to provide and maintain a reliable supply chain of fuel and lubricants to UN troops of the highest quality while maintaining a safe and productive working environment for my staff on site and also conforming to ISO9001:2008 standard.My day to day tasks comprise of, but are not limited to:•Delegating and overseeing daily tasks for all levels of staff on site from shift manager to operators in such things as bulk tanker operations,general site maintenance,work schedules, and correctly recording our findings with the correct documentation where required. •Ensuring daily testing on the site fuel is done correctly.•Overseeing safety & maintenance checks on machinery and correctly logging and reporting our results prior to opening the site each day.•Carrying out all weekly & monthly HSE checks on safety equipment on site.•Being responsible for organising fuel & life support logistic moves to the site in order to ensure we can maintain smooth daily operations.•Ensuring staff are working in a safe and efficient manner, encouraging their personal development and being available to deal with any personal welfare issues that may arise.•Carrying out toolbox safety talks with the staff on a weekly basis to maintain their awareness of the importance of operating safety on site at all times.•Completing daily stock accounts, monitoring levels and reporting in a timely manner via email to our operations manager.•Maintaining good communications with our customers,and visiting contractors so we can remain flexible and cater for any specific requirements.

• Lance Corporal: Responsible for motivating personnel and enforcing work that was tasked with by my superiors, making sure that tasks were carried out to a professional standard to a strict given timeline. Also responsible for minor administration, assisting in office duties when needed and assisting in the training of personnel.• Private Soldier: Responsible for everyday work with given tasks to be carried out by my superiors, carrying them out in a professional manner and to a strict given deadline. Tasks such as Pipefitting/ Replacing and the operation of heavy machinery.

I was in command (IC) of running and maintaining a large F&L compound in camp Bastion, taking charge of a six man section assuring that the compound ran smoothly issuing F&L to various battle groups to support the Operation. I also helped out on reconstructing a new manual stock account due to an electronic accounts malfunction. Also Took a four man section to a Forward Operating Base (FOB) to fully construct a 2 tank site using TFC (Tank Fuel Collapsible), This was too ensure that the battle group in that location had enough fuel supply to run their vehicles and generators due to poor conditions.

I Was in Command (IC) on my own. of the running and maintaining a small POL whilst attached to the 3 Scots pre deployment training for Afghanistan, issuing oils, lubricants, bulk & retail F-54 (Diesel). I was to make sure the POL point was dipped on a first/ last parade and annotated on the fuels account accordingly. Carried out stock checks and stock rotation, keep the account well maintained to a very high standard.

Was 2nd in command (2IC) of a 12 tank site in camp Bastion, ensuring the site was well maintained at all times to an expected high standard. Also took an 8 man team to strip the 12 tank site and help with the rebuild of the new 22 tank site, building filter packs, issue & receipt points making sure they were built correctly and in a safe manner.

Was a strong team member working on an 18 tank site, carrying out everyday tasks under the supervision of my superiors on the BFI on Shibah Log Base. Had responsibilities of making sure bulk fuel vehicles where dipped and sampled before offloading the fuel into our site, ready to be distributed for vehicles and generators around the LOG base. Also dipping our tanks on a daily routine, day & night to assure the stock was correct according to the account and safe to issue to customers.
