Responsible to plan, coordinate, direct, and design all operational activities of the IT department. Provide direction and support for IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations at 34 Nursing facilities and 12 Assisted living facilities within Indiana. Create a vision and leadership for developing and implementing IT initiatives across all areas of the organization. Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems across the organization.

Responsible for all technology within Miller's Health Systems. My team, of programmers and service desk technicians, and I support the corporate office as well as the 33 Long Term Health facilities across the state of Indiana. We manage/administer/maintain roughly 50 servers and utilize terminal services and Thin-clients. We adhere to HIPAA guidelines and rely on 3rd party cloud-based software for EMR (electronic medical records). We are currently undergoing a virtualization project to centralize our infrastructure for better uptime, reliability, and performance.

Business Partner with HRIS. Manage SAP ECM Business Analysts and ABAP Programmers. Modules include PA, OM, PY, LMS, ESS/MSS, eRec, and Xi/Pi.

Gather business requirements for SAP ECM implementation. Was responsible for Benefit interfaces and LMS configuration. Learned to create and support Xi for vendor communications.

PowerBuilder/Sybase SQL programmer. Supported Manufacturing, Quality, and Ops & Logistics departments. Built global labeling application, global forecasting application, and Quality Corrective/Preventive Action application. Implemented apps in Japan, Australia, Europe, and Canada.

Supported Image Processing systems (custom), Macs, and RISC 6000. Installed Donnelley's first ethernet network. Recieved a trade secret for File Compression for Color Proofing. Worked with some great technical associates and learned much about computers, networks, and programming.
