This could be hiring an employee, developing an in-house CRM system, building an interactive website, launching an online advertising campaign or just about anything you can think of.In addition to business consulting, we are also developing a network of affiliate marketing businesses across multiple niches. We maintain a data center in Los Angeles, CA and send programming to over 65 countries at any given time. I was part of a team of three people who started this company in a garage in Long Beach in the summer of 2006. As a founder and eventually CEO I helped steer the company from initial idea through our first data center in El Segundo in early 2007 and on to over 2500 square feet of space in 2012. As we grew I managed the growth of our sales and support teams to handle the increased work load. In order to maintain customer support around the world, we hired support staff in three countries representing a cross-section of time zones. We also hired sales people in strategic markets such as the US Military and high density expat markets such as Tokyo, London, Seoul and Sydney.Working with a2btv also gave me a strong grasp of international copyright law, media distribution technologies and programming partnerships throughout the world. I consider myself an expert on DMCA law and how to apply that to emerging media companies.I still retain a board seat and am active in strategic decisions of the company. We continue to grow and serve the expat market around the world and are often the closest connection to home that our customers have.

In addition to the remote AV/Tech duties, I was also responsible for hiring an additional technician and hiring our director of IT for in-house needs.Among other things, I also managed moving three separate offices into one central downtown location, coordinating all of the tech and infrastructure along the way.This job gave me a great appreciation for and exposure to our legal system. Over the course of working in the jury consulting field, I was exposed to some of the top litigators in the country and developed a knack for great story telling and persuasive argument.
