2017 -- leading project to upgrade our LMS to SumTotal Learn -- combining our internal and external training platforms into one system, and enabling sophisticated e-commerce for customers to purchase training online and at our Process Training University network. Part of team coordinating instrumentation training for veterans through Rockwell/Manpower Academy of Advanced Manufacturing (see video link below). This program will expand to train and place over 1000 veterans per year for jobs in the automation industry. 2016 -- leading new project to shoot over 100 (over 10.5 hours of final content) video segments to help our sales, service and customer audiences learn to perform installation, wiring, setup and troubleshooting on key devices that we manufacture and help our customers to apply. Packaging these up using Articulate Storyline 2, and following ADDIE development model with learning objectives and online assessments to validate learning. 2013-2014 Led implementation of "Learning Portal 2.0", our second generation learning management system. Involved transfer of hundreds of existing courses, over 1000 users, 3000 online resource documents and hundreds of thousands of learning records. Launched in March 2014 without a hitch. Have since added new groups of "extended enterprise" users, providing specific training catalogs to each group. Managing Training Group (including two training managers and a business support specialist) that coordinates training for external (customer) and internal (primarily sales and service) audiences. We work with subject matter experts around the country to help them develop and deliver their training in the most effective manner. Responsible for content development and delivery. In 2015, led project to create a "Selling Services" training initiative. As a result, 2015 Service sales were over target, and up significantly over last year.

Currently working to coordinate product training for our inside and outside sales team, which involves both classroom training (centralized as well as regional). In 2007, we implemented an e-learning platform we call "The Learning Portal", which is built on the foundation of Adobe Connect Training. We use Adobe Presenter and Captivate for e-learning content authoring, and Connect Pro for our LMS/delivery system. This gives us online meeting capability (and these meetings can be recorded in order to create "training" for those who were not able to attend the "live" session).In 2010, we implemented a "Self-directed Learning Plan" for Inside Sales Engineers (and have set the current target at 48 hours per quarter, approx. 4 hours per week for this group of employees). In 2013 we implemented an online training system for our customers (End User Academy), and a testing/evaluation program we call "ISEmetrix" (which allows our Inside Sales Engineers, ISEs, to demonstrate their competence and capabilities in a wide variety of product and industry knowledge areas).

Classroom And Online

Facilitated several courses, including "Introduction to Management", "Organizational Behavior" and "International Business", both online and in the classroom for the Associates and Bachelor's programs in Management.
