Working in the central IT division I provided UX design services for agile teams.I was formally trained in the SAFe Scaled Agile Framework that nbn uses. Jigsaw is a highly customised Salesforce interface for Service Assurance Operators.Previously operators needed to pivot between a number of different systems to process an incident that a customer had logged via their Retail Service Provider.I joined after initial user research and conceptual visual designs was completed.I worked closely with Product Owners, BAs, and the dev team to ensure the requirements were clearly articulated in the wireframes. To ensure sound usability I establish a monthly usability testing cycle with Service Assurance Operators (offshore and onshore).Administering the prioritised master list of usability findings I set up a system based on the Nielsen Norman Group (NN/g) severity rating for usability problems. This allowed stakeholder to independently vote on the severity (frequency, impact, persistence) of each of the usability issues documented. To ensure that Jigsaw would be accessible to users with a disability, I developed a design overlay to better communicate accessibility requirements with developers. Atlas Operate is a native mobile app that field technicians use to work on connection orders and service assurance incidents that aim to restore a customer’s connection. Before I started on this project, Atlas did not allow field techs to test the connection and offsite the service assurance incidents from within the app.Every field tech needed to call up the nbn Service Assurance Operation Centre and wait while an operator manually ran tests and completed offsite for them. This caused lengthy delays.I performed Contextual Inquiry with field techs to research their current process and pain points.I used this research to create wireframes that allowed them to run tests and offsite.I evaluated the usability of the wireframes via paper prototype usability testing.

Officeworks has over 150 retail stores across Australia, each with a Print & Copy (P&C) section. Officeworks’ website also enables customers to submit and purchase print orders across a range of different print products. I worked within the P&C agile development team for almost 3 years as a User Experience Consultant. When I started at Officeworks the P&C Dashboard, that is used in the Print Hub and stores, could only show orders/jobs that had been submitted online. Stores were using pieces of handwritten paper and emails to manage orders that customers had submitted in-store. I created the wireframes to introduce the new Create Order functionality in the Dashboard that allows Team Members (TMs) to log in-store orders into the P&C Dashboard. These wireframes were evaluated and iterated with TMs in-store using paper prototype usability testing.During my time I played an integral part in helping launch over 15 new print products online and in the P&C Dashboard. This involved creating wireframes, preparing/optimising product images, creating content templates, uploading product content, creating test files, etc.Officeworks uses the Net Promoter Score (NPS) to collect/rate customer engagement. I'm proud of the work I completed to create and maintain a P&C NPS dashboard that allowed key stakeholder to visually track customer engagement and feedback themes across the store/online network.
