I am responsible for leading the development and scale up of the Youth Career Initiative in line with the strategy. I lead on strategic partnerships, including those with the global hotel industry (including Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Carlson Rezidor, Hyatt and Four Seasons) and international NGOs (including SOS Children's Villages, World Vision and Plan International). Supported by a highly effective team based in the UK, Brazil, Jordan and India.

To meet with potential partners, funders, and key politicians with a view to influencing and shaping the world in which young people operate, and removing the barriers that prevent young people accessing leadership roles. Responsibility for income generation, prospect development, lead generation, brand management and communications.

Managed the delivery of a national youth leadership programme in the West Midlands (consisting of two regional groups). Role involved ensuring improvements in young people's outcomes were effectively achieved, captured and evidenced, and ensuring the programme was delivered on budget in the region.

Review existing youth volunteering activity, engage volunteer-involving organisations and local offers for young people, identifying and brokering new opportunities to meet young people's needs and ensuring they are easy to access and promoted across a wide range of communication channels.Engage with under-represented groups of young people through targeted outreach and recruitment programmes. Recruit, train and support young people to provide positive peer influence and inspire others to volunteer.Support organisations to be better able to support young volunteers through training, capacity building, and one-to-one support.
