Completed in the Fall of 2015, NEWCITY is a 1.1 million square-foot, mixed-use development located in the North and Clybourn Corridor situated in the heart of Lincoln Park. The mixed-use development includes 390,764 square feet of leasable commercial area spread across three multi-story retail buildings, a 19-story apartment tower, and a 1,051 space parking garage structure. In the middle of NEWCITY is a central courtyard with a circular drive and extensive outdoor space occupied by surrounding restaurants (Earl's Kitchen & Bar, YardHouse, Nando's, LYFE Kitchen, Max & Leo's Pizza and Coming Soon Kizuki Raman Noodle) and entertainment venues (ArcLight Cinemas and Kings Bowl). I served as the General Manager of the commercial portion (Retail and Office) of NEWCITY and worked directly for John Bucksbaum. My duties include the day to day management of the center including oversight of Mall Operations, Security, Housekeeping, Accounting, Marketing, on-site construction coordination and support, Tenant relations, financial reporting and budgeting. Served as Mall Manager at Tyrone Square Mall in St. Petersburg, Florida. My responsibilites included the day to day management of the 2.7 million square foot regional shopping center. Those duties included the financial reporting, supervision of property accounting, security, housekeeping and operations.

Responsibilities included ensuring the maintenance and improvement of the physical appearance, functional capability and security of the center through the implementation of housekeeping, landscaping, loss prevention and maintenance programs.

Served as Operations Manager/Marketing Director of historic cigar factory converted into a mixed use shopping center, located in the Ybor (EE-Bore) City section of Tampa, featuring thirty-five specialty shops and five ethnic restaurants. Duties included merchant’s association coordinator, media buyer, special event director, promotions, and community/tenant relations. Additionally, my duties included maintenance and property management, leasing, budget and financial planning tenant build-outs and anything related to the day-to-day operation of the Ybor Square project.
