Reporting to the CEO and a key member of the Executive team I was responsible for designing and leading the execution of strategy across IT, Operations, Facilities and WH&S divisions.Achievement highlights are:• Valued Executive Leadership team member who designed and delivered clear strategic and operational goals to increase relevance and value to members in a tight financial operating environment of a Not-For-Profit association. • Architected and championed the case for enterprise-wide IT systems and processes that enabled increased service to members through major changes in the technology and operating environments.• Creation and ongoing maintenance of a strong support culture in my teams that delivered value to our stakeholders. This was demonstrated by internal and external feedback metrics and whole-of-organisation service satisfaction surveys.• CRM planning, business case and implementation including project and change management, process mapping and review, conversion, configuration, go-live transitioning and ongoing strategy visioning. • Successful system selection and implementation of Content Management and Finance systems for the QLS group of entities, including integrations with the CRM which enabled rich data analysis.• Strategic and operational review of the Society’s member floor operations which when delivered achieved consistent feedback scores from customers in excess of 4.6 out of 5 whilst consistently exceeding revenue targets.• Created valuable relationships with wide range of external stakeholders from IT, Operations Facilities, and Body Corporate functions across a range of industry sectors including Government.• Delivered building projects including major refurbishment, building, painting and repair works, on time and on budget with minor impact on staff and tenants.• Led and mentored team members and created strong staff engagement with the Society as evidenced by consistently high Staff Engagement survey scores.

As for the general manager role at Queensland Law Society above, whilst in the role of Director of Information Services I reported directly to the CEO and was an active member of the executive team.Some of my achievements during this time include:• Transforming legacy IT environment operations to a fully maintained, structured and reliable operation through the implementation of systems, policies and processes resulting in a consistent annual uptime of 99.9%.• Management of teams to create a strong support culture in a consultative environment, including implementing procedures to document the environment and processes in order to transfer knowledge, set and measure service and response standards, reduce key person risk and facilitate consistency in service delivery to end users.• Standardising IT operations with entire fleet of end user computing devices replaced and developing a standard operating environment together with the testing, implementation and training.• Core involvement in the Society’s refurbishment project over 4 floors involving the selection and implementation of modern workstations, networking, cabling and power including liaison with contractors and coordinating the relocation of staff to and from staging areas with minimal downtime to staff and operations.

As a senior member of the consulting team I reported directly to the Partner in charge. I demonstrated a high level of expertise in delivering successful projects for clients covering a wide range of issues.Here are a few of my achievements:• Full time secondment to IT management role for Queensland based not for profit to deliver increased stability of IT environment and delivery of specific priority projects in order to provide framework for the delivery of organization wide strategic objectives• Provision of advice to a large corporate client in the insurance industry in relation to business best practice for disaster recovery, it management, data security and protection.• Delivery of clearly defined business and IT strategic plans for clients including detailing prioritised implementation plans defining activities, responsibilities and delivery timeframes• Internal secondment to the role of project manager for the consolidation and migration of two practice management systems into a third system (APS) as the result of a merger between BDO and Horwath. Duties included managing stakeholders, budgets, user and business requirements, supplier deliverables as well as ongoing management of the system post go live and development of web based data warehouse reporting solution.• Redesign of processes for the maintenance of web content of a Queensland based Non-Government Organisation.• Requirement specification, development, implementation, maintenance and project management of a software solution for a Perth based funeral company and a Queensland based Government Owned Corporation to report on project consulting costs from a financial accounting system.• Delivery of presentations to management teams to communicate the functionality of web environments and how they may be leveraged by an organisation.• Telephone system reviews for mid-sized law firm and Queensland charity, including suitability of VOIP technologies to achieve business strategies.
