As for the general manager role at Queensland Law Society above, whilst in the role of Director of Information Services I reported directly to the CEO and was an active member of the executive team.Some of my achievements during this time include:• Transforming legacy IT environment operations to a fully maintained, structured and reliable operation through the implementation of systems, policies and processes resulting in a consistent annual uptime of 99.9%.• Management of teams to create a strong support culture in a consultative environment, including implementing procedures to document the environment and processes in order to transfer knowledge, set and measure service and response standards, reduce key person risk and facilitate consistency in service delivery to end users.• Standardising IT operations with entire fleet of end user computing devices replaced and developing a standard operating environment together with the testing, implementation and training.• Core involvement in the Society’s refurbishment project over 4 floors involving the selection and implementation of modern workstations, networking, cabling and power including liaison with contractors and coordinating the relocation of staff to and from staging areas with minimal downtime to staff and operations.

Duties included managing stakeholders, budgets, user and business requirements, supplier deliverables as well as ongoing management of the system post go live and development of web based data warehouse reporting solution.• Redesign of processes for the maintenance of web content of a Queensland based Non-Government Organisation.• Requirement specification, development, implementation, maintenance and project management of a software solution for a Perth based funeral company and a Queensland based Government Owned Corporation to report on project consulting costs from a financial accounting system.• Delivery of presentations to management teams to communicate the functionality of web environments and how they may be leveraged by an organisation.• Telephone system reviews for mid-sized law firm and Queensland charity, including suitability of VOIP technologies to achieve business strategies.
