I programmed some of the gameplay in Splash Uncles as well as designed and balanced the difficulty progression system used in the game. In addition to working on the programming and design of the game, I also modeled the majority of the environments in the game and helped define the visual style that that the game has. -
Developer, Senior Capstone ProjectNeumont College Of Computer Science Oct 2018 - Dec 2018Senior Capstone Project - Adaptable Behavior TreesFor my Capstone Project while at Neumont, I created a FPS game using Unity 3D (C#) that made use of my own custom designed behavior tree system for the AI. My adaptable behavior tree system differs from that of a normal behavior tree system by using fuzzy logic to allow behaviors/tasks to be re-arranged in the tree. The goal of my system was to allow for dramatically different behavior between different AI agents in the game world without needing to create different behaviors or increase the complexity of the behavior trees. Changing only a single float value allows for AI using my system to act in completely different ways while using otherwise identical behavior trees.In addition to creating the AI that this project made use of, I also designed the game's level and personally modeled almost everything in it.
