Work with selected vendors, business management and IT project teams to create solutions of the most complex nature. Evaluate new technologies and work with the Chief Architect and service providers to create standards and new offerings in the infrastructure space. Understands key components of the Architecture process and can apply them when crafting business solutions. Participates in setting strategic direction. Is a focal point for integration amongst providers and consumers. Establishes service levels and monitors vendor performance. Develops and implements metrics and balance scorecards. • Support and implement the process for securing devices for events, executive presentations, press/analyst briefings and the customer ready room.• Proactively work with the engineering teams, MVPs, third parties vendors and event organizers to manage device use & device inventory.• Write product descriptions, clear/concise demo scripts for devices in the WEB inventory, and maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of this information on the relevant internal SharePoint portal.• Manage device shipments in support of global marketing manager needs.• Proactively work with Exec Communication Manager, Technical Product Managers, System Engineers from OED and Windows Embedded Partners to procure the most up to date Embedded devices for demos created for events.• Maintained and update demos scripts, virtual machines, hardware and software related to demos built for events, or for other purposes.• Acted as subject matter expert for multimedia scripts and content created for new devices and products.• Maintained the inventory of the demo hardware used within the Windows Embedded Group.
