I served as Compliance Director for all of Morgan Stanley's Fixed Income Divisions including residential and commercial mortgage originations, acquisitions and servicing, consumer loans, including student, auto and credit card loans, where I worked directly with Discover Card and its home loans and consumer loans divisions.

I joined the EMC mortgage company subsidiary of Bear Stearns shortly before its acquisition of the United Companies and oversaw the significant enhancement of its control functions including legal, compliance, quality control and internal audit during a period of significant growth. Aligned reporting and due diligence efforts with corresponding Bear Stearns, New York departments.

I served as regulatory compliance counsel to Alliance Funding Company, a large mortgage originator, aggregator and servicer owned by Superior Bank. I assisted with all facets of compliance including securitization, loan acquisition and sale, and approvals from Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and HUD.
