Acted as the Director of Strategic Alliances and Business Development for Akibia, Inc., a technology company focused on delivering multivendor, multi-platform solutions to support the critical data center environments and security infrastructure of leading companies worldwide. Work included indentifying and assessing market players, coordinating and developing strategic partner and vendor relationships, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.

Acted as first General Counsel for Akibia, Inc. Supervised associate counsel and handled all of the company’s in-house legal needs.

Acted as In-house Counsel in legal department of four attorneys for One Source Information Services, Inc., an Internet based, business-to-business information service provider. Handled all aspects of corporate in-house practice.

Acted as In-house Counsel in an eight-attorney legal department for Cognex Corporation, a leading provider of vision systems, vision software, vision sensors and surface inspection systems used in manufacturing automation. Responsible for all areas of corporate business practice for the company.

Acted as In-house Counsel for start-up company, manufacturing reflective coatings for sports apparel and military products. Focused on business transactions with sporting goods manufacturers and retailers including sales contracts, exclusivity agreements, vendor contracts and tax issues. Responsible for international sales support for Asia and Europe, and structured world-wide public relations and branding initiatives.
