The Director - Wealth Management Consultant plays a critical role in supporting Schwab Private Client Investment Advisory (SPCIA) by reinforcing and helping develop effective wealth management skills. Wealth Management Consultants influence SPCIA leaders through targeted coaching and development within 5 areas of focus:1. Activation and delivery of wealth management content and training2. Fostering consistency and competency in wealth management knowledge and application3. Adoption of wealth management tools and technology, including MGP and Salesforce4. Overseeing badging and skills certification program5. Successful and consistent support of wealth management initiatives and change managementWealth Management Consultants (WMCs) primary role is developing SPCIA leaders through coaching and consulting to Schwab’s Modern Wealth Management experience. WMCs partner with vice presidents, managing directors and senior team managers to identify vital needs and areas of focus in their markets. Following a consultative process, they determine and implement effective strategies that promote wealth management skill development, enhance client outcomes and accelerate market growth and retention. The WMC collaborates with the business and their peers to ensure a consistent standard of wealth management training, competency and client experience is being maintained. The WMC is passionate about helping SPCIA leaders build their knowledge and skill set by influencing the adoption of critical wealth management competencies and behaviors.
