Thank you time machine! Seems we had a blip there, but now I'm back full-orange at Jack Morton Worldwide. There is no gap in my growth and professional development, because there was a lot to do in 2020. I'm profoundly grateful for all the opportunities I've been afforded. Now back to work.

I started my own business in 2009 after the last big economic event, and have since maintained relationships with a mix of charitable organizations and small businesses who need marketing support. I'm able to benefit clients with my extensive marketing background, and depth of experience creating content. Print, digital, video, photography, you name it. I combine it all with the technical know-how needed these days to publish online. The Detroit Web Forge has been idling in the background of my Jack Morton career, filling my extra time (when there was some) with rewarding and inspirational work for clients whom I truly appreciate. I'm now focused on volunteer work for charitable organizations and projects for clients.

I spent ten years at Jack Morton Worldwide in Detroit, Michigan developing marketing communications for GM brands. I have nothing but great things to say about this agency and its people. My first assignment was to help launch and develop a major Customer Experience campaign called The Everyday Hero for Chevrolet. My work with the Chevy Team and Disney Institute spanned several years and remains one of my fondest professional experiences. I learned a great deal at Jack Morton about building brand experiences, developing top-notch creative work and the power of teamwork. Thanks Jack!

I started with Carlson as a marketing manager supporting our Subaru and Volvo accounts, then spent several years developing and managing merchandising, sales promotion and event marketing projects for our Saturn clients. From 1998 to 2000 I worked for Carlson Marketing in the U.K. providing creative and sales support for our work with Royal Bank of Scotland, Budget Rent A Car, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Volkswagen and Peugeot. Most recently I worked in the Troy, Michigan office in a strategic account planning role. The work centered on developing new business proposals to expand Carlson's marketing services business with automotive clients.

As a strategist for Carlson my work centered on helping our Account teams expand their client relationships into new categories. I would work with the account team to identify opportunities, then develop creative ideas and proposals that clients could buy.

Manley Communication Group was a small and highly effective marketing communication agency that was aquired by Carlson Marketing. As a project manager specializing in automotive marketing communications and training I produced as a variety of projects for Chevrolet, Ford, Toyota and Lexus.

In my role as Assistant Account Executive I contributed to the development of new business proposals in the retail and health care fields. I also helped plan and execute marketing and advertising campaigns for D.O.C Optical, Martin Tessler, M.D. and Borgess Medical Center.
