About Scott Stone

I'm not the typical CFO (not that there's anything wrong with that). I have always been fascinated by how things work, and that has led me to continuously seek a deeper understanding of how businesses really function. While I am passionate about being a Finance leader, I am drawn to learning how enterprises grow and thrive, and how to build and develop the teams that create meaningful opportunities for people - and ultimately drive value creation. I also lead a class in the UAB School of Entrepreneurship called "Entrepreneurial Finance and Accounting", in which the entrepreneurs of tomorrow learn how to develop and use Accounting and Finance skills in their future endeavors.
