Implemented significant refactoring of the Stories codebase, including breaking apart one core library that had hundreds of incoming and outgoing dependencies. Partnered with two Engineering Managers to kickstart a program that allowed engineers to "shadow" an engineering manager for several weeks to learn more about that career path. -

Tech Lead for Stories Home, a feature that took a team of 10 engineers 1.5 years to develop and launch. Drove day-to-day execution of this large project across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Server, ML), resulting in the team consistently hitting delivery deadlines (±1 week) for duration of the project. Long-term focus on improving automated testing across the entire Stories organization focusing on unit testing, screenshot testing, and UI/End-to-End testing at various times. Owned and implemented significant portions of the Stores Home infrastructure including server queries, logging, and UI. Organized and streamlined team processes around team roadmaps, project planning, project scheduling, QA, bug bashes, internal A/B tests, and external A/B tests. Led a 3-month sprint to grow engagement metrics for the Stories Home feature: explored 25 different features, built 19 of those features, ran 35 public A/B tests, and shipped 6 features that resulted in the team hitting its goals.
