I'm a Carnegie Mellon University grad who hasn't stopped coding since I got my 1st Commodore 64 when I was 6. I love music, sports, farming, texas hold'em, flying airplanes + skydiving.I graduated from the Carnegie Institute of Technology at Carnegie Mellon University where I obtained a B.S. and M.S. in Computer and Electrical Engineering. The last 15 years I have co-founded a successful startup dealing with artificial intelligence and machine learning using deep neural networks in the context of search engine technology.I regularly act as a chief technology evangelist, sometimes speaking to thousands of people at various events. In addition to experience at IBM and other large organizations, I have helped build and raise millions of capital in early to mid-stage tech start-ups along the way.I'm an inventor and author of many utility patents in both the software and search space.Currently, I'm a co-founder and the CTO at Market Brew, a private company based in the Silicon Valley, that sells artificial-intelligence-powered search engine modeling software. Some of the largest digital marketing teams in the world use this technology to build models of search engines which, like a "chameleon" search engine, allows them to make changes to their web sites, and instantly see how the search engine will react.
