A freelance broadcast video editor since 1990 I have worked on just about every genre on TV from accelerated reality to political satire, sports to game shows . As a highly technical online / finishing editor I have edited for every major UK broadcaster and others around the world. Unusually, I relish doing all those fiddly finishing bits like grading, blurring, captioning and fixing Harding failures.As a cutting editor I am very experienced in multi-camera productions, particularly quiz and game shows. With sports I have cut everything from documentary shorts to post match highlights.I have a love of good audio and create complete sound mixes within Avid and with a background in sound post production my cuts are welcomed in both the online and sound dub, saving time at every stage. Good at cutting music (ex-musician), insert VTs and story-telling. I’m very used to working under time pressure (lots of sports news experience) and playing a leading editor role in fast turnaround productions like I’m A Celebrity Australia, Love Island Australia and USA, Vlogglebox and the NHS Heroes Awards. Highly experienced in the use of Avid Media Composer (and Symphony) Avid Interplay, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve (editing and grading) I’m an extremely experienced and reliable editor. I also have my own home based suite for remote editing.
