Tasks ranged from daily backup procedures to the recommendation of new computer workstations. Maintained a Novell based network that used both IPX and IP protocol for the support staff. Developed a plan to move the Red Cross in Philadelphia to a Windows based environment, including Windows NT servers.

ntegrated and installed their Lantastic Networks in Philadelphia and Boston. Developed plans to introduce networks to all sites. I developed Foxpro based applications that were used to further computerize hotel management at the 80+ sites. I also wrote the user-manuals for these systems. I supported our National Sales Novell Network with end-user support and custom reports. I also developed network training courses and manuals.

Devolped program changes to the various tracking systems that CIM (Computer Integrated Manufacturing) maintained. These systems involved acquiring data from a mainframe; user input from Intermec bar-code readers or keyboard; reporting on a daily basis; and, query reports. Utilized a Novell Network, between multiple locations and multi-user database applications. All programs were menu driven with help screens and are compiled in QuickSilver, a Dbase Compiler. I also integrated Windows applications in a network environment and was in charge of acquisition of new and updates to our software library.
