  • Fastly
    Senior Analyst Relations Manager
    Fastly Jun 2024 - Present
    San Francisco, Ca, Us
When I joined Fastly, I took over the management of two IDC MarketScapes that were underway, including the IDC MarketScape for Worldwide Web Application and API Protection (WAAP), and the IDC MarketScape for Worldwide Edge Delivery Services. It was a crash course to become familiar with Fastly security and edge delivery technology and the key managers and experts needed to complete the questionnaires and brief the analysts. As a cross-functional team effort, we managed to significantly improve our scores and position in the WAAP MarketScape, and we've achieved great scores in the Edge Delivery MarketScape. In addition, I've served as the analyst relations lead at the Black Hat conference, and the Forrester Tech & Innovation Summit, managed Gartner, IDC and Forrester inquiries and briefings, along with engagement with lower tier analysts, and managed collateral and webinar projects.
  • Cloud Software Group
    Senior Manager, Analyst Relations
Cloud Software Group Sep 2022 - May 2024
    Fort Lauderdale, Fl, Us
Since September 30, when Citrix was acquired by Vista Equity Partners and Evergreen Coast Capital Corp., and then merged with Tibco to form Cloud Software Group, my role has been to a model for managing analyst relations for the new company, and continue managing analyst relations for the Citrix and ShareFile business units. I lead analyst relations at the corporate level to leverage the scale, purchasing power and influence potential of Cloud Software Group. The three-person corporate analyst relations team I lead provides individual services for each business unit. Since then, I've collaborated with the corporate marketing team, the finance team and individual business unit teams to restructure our Gartner contract in alignment with their individual annual operating plans and objectives, and negotiate new contracts with IDC and Forrester that also align to our new operating model and individual and corporate business objectives. I've also worked with my teammates to arrange briefings and inquiries to address market and customer concerns about our acquisition, and provide credible assurances that Citrix, ibi, NetScaler, ShareFile, Spotfire and Tibco are on solid financial footing and remain committed to delivering long-term value for our customers.
  • Citrix
    Senior Manager, Analyst Relations
    Citrix Mar 2018 - Sep 2022
    Fort Lauderdale, Fl, Us
Due to my contributions as a part-time contributor to the Citrix analyst relations team, the team lead recruited me to join as a full-time analyst relations professional in March, 2018, where I managed all analyst relations for the Citrix application and desktop virtualization, unified endpoint management product portfolio, and content collaboration product portfolios. In addition to managing all competitive evaluations, including multiple Gartner Magic Quadrants, Forrester Waves and IDC MarketScapes, I worked with the team to plan and execute a global analyst relations conference in Santa Clara, managing logistics, meeting schedules and content for 60 analysts from firms that included Gartner, Forrester, IDC, ESG, 451, and a number of independent firms. I also managed analyst relations for my product portfolios for the annual Citrix Synergy customer conference. As the Citrix vision evolved, I developed and executed plans to reposition all of the Citrix products as part of a comprehensive Citrix Workspace vision to transform how employees work to be more product, less distracted, and more loyal to their organizations. This included working with Gartner research chiefs to ensure the Citrix portfolio was positioned for emerging Gartner categories focused on the Future of Work, and developing new analyst relationships as our portfolio expanded into their coverage areas. When the global pandemic hit, I then ensured our analyst relationships remained consistent and helped plan and executive multiple virtual events, recruiting analysts to attend, and following up with inquiries to obtain their views on what worked, and where Citrix could improve.
  • Citrix

My tenure serving Donovan Neale-May gave me the gift of expanding beyond my comfort zone of managing high-tech PR programs. • Cyclades Corporation
    Public Relations Manager
    Cyclades Corporation Mar 2004 - Jun 2005
I believe every communications professional should experience life in an agency and on the corporate side. Cyclades gave me the chance to immerse myself into all aspects of the marketing program. From working directly with the VP of marketing to reframe our corporate and product story, to creating the company's first global communications program, to refining sales presentations, I had the opportunity to wear multiple hats and engage with colleagues from all departments in the company. Cyclades also exposed me to new cultures, particularly the Brazilian world that was far more diverse than I realized. I forged new friendships, refined my writing skills, and since I had no real authority to get colleagues to work with me, I learned the finer art of persuading people by emphasizing the benefits they would accrue through collaboration. At Cyclades, I:* Developed Strategic plans and messages including new corporate and product messages* Planned and managed company’s first global PR launch using major product announcement as new hook for delivering new company story, securing extensive coverage in five regions, including North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific* Developed company’s first global public relations policy to ensure delivery of consistent messages and coordinated product and company news announcements to deliver a unified and consistent corporate vision through entire global marketing team* Co-wrote white papers defining out-of-band infrastructure market, value proposition and presenting strategic * Developed and implemented company’s first speaking program, yielding three major speaking placements in the first six months.
