As a Sr. Consultant, I was assigned to Red Hat customers to assist with deploying, configuring, updating and managing the Red Hat portfolio of products as well as teaching the customers how to continue to utilize the product for “day two” management.Working with the Sr. Architect, designed and created a fully automated deployment of SAP on Red Hat for a fortune 500 provider of dental devices and services.As part of a Red Hat/Customer cross function team, designed and deployed AAP (Ansible Automation Platform) across multiple regional datacenter and multiple security zones inside each datacenter for a Fortune 50 financial company.Working with the AppDev team of a Fortune 50 bank, create new and refined existing Ansible playbooks that managed the deployment of various application used in the banks infrastructure.Created customized solution for a Fortune 200 bank that allowed them to automate the update of 20,000+ virtual and physical Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers using the Red Hat LEAPP utility and AAP playbooks.

The Security Engineering team is responsible for deploying and managing all of the internal security applications used by the enterprise. Applications include both Entrust’s own products (customer zero) as well as external applications. In addition, the engineering team is responsible for managing patching for all servers and workstations in the enterprise using an automated solution comprised of Ansible, Red Hat Satellite and WSUS.* Assisted with the final rollout of the of the Ansible automated patching solution. Provided feedback on where efficiencies could me made in the playbooks that had already been developed and created new playbooks where needed.* Drove the project to decommission Spacewalk and migrated all CentOS nodes to utilizing RH Satellite as the repository of choice for all Linux servers.* Provided much needed expertise for the RH Satellite infrastructure management.* Deployed the teams first Kubernetes cluster running AWX* Worked with other internal teams to configure applications for SSO authentication via Entrust’s own IDaaS solution.* Managed policies for Symantec and BeyondTrust endpoint management solutions.* Currently working as part of the engineering team that is deploying Entrust’s PKIaaS solution for internal use for managing certificates.

As a member of the systems engineering team, responsibilities included full lifecycle support of the Linux and VMware infrastructure as well as creating and deploying system automation where none had existed before.
