After leaving St Augustine’s secondary school in the seventies with a ringing endorsement from the headmaster, “Vincent, you will make nothing of yourself,” Scott Vincent embarked on a journey of self discovery. Beginning with a career as a Professional Co-Pilot of a WRC team, Vincent turned his talents to hospitality, leading an international team to promote, organise and hold functions including charitable events for sports personalities. With contacts in the military, Vincent was persuaded to head an elite specialist security leading him to launch several innovative security strategies for private clients. In a move to enjoy the finer things life has to offer, Vincent perused the Mediterranean selecting and purchasing small niche delis and bars to give a complete refurbishment to create a unique relaxed yet cultural dining experience using locally sourced produce. A six-week cycle break in the mountains of Morzine on the French/Italian/Swiss border saw him tackle his biggest venture to date. Creating Vendicare was Vincent’s way of tackling some of the issues in this awful world we live in. A world where everyone looks away when it doesn’t affect them. Scott Vincent lives in a quiet Staffordshire Village with his partner of over twenty years, has three sons who inspire him and three beautiful granddaughters who are his world.
