Through labs with real world experience and teachings from professionals in the field, I have gained knowledge and developed my skills in things such as, Microsoft Security, Networking & Network Security, Cloud Security, and Linux Security, as well as Python, Incident Response, Digital Forensics, and working with VirtualBox.Highlights from projects include:-Created firewall rules blocking traffic not allowed for a specific destination, using 8.8.8.8 as the destination to be blocked for ICMP.-Provided a solution for remote access by creating a NAT port forwarding rule, in pfSense, to translate the external requests to internal addresses.-Installed Suricata for detection of abnormal traffic and ran a Brute-Force & DoS attack, in order to view the event alerts.-Set up a wide area network (WAN) for a mock bank that includes three LANs (one of which will be partitioned with three VLANs).-Configure all network devices and endpoints to communicate with the entire WAN.-Configured SSHv2 services on all routers to allow for remote administration.
