Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita MSCA operations included USAF Search and Rescue assets saving over 5,500 lives, airlift assets transporting over 36,000 passengers and 11,000 tons of cargo, and Air Force Medical Services personnel helped offload, triage, treat, and direct over 31,000 victims.
