After retiring from the military with 20 years of service, I worked in the nonprofit sector for 4.5 years, earning T.S.E. Inc. a Federal Grant to purchase 2 buses. I have worked in retail as a bookkeeper, as a Human Resources/Safety Officer, and Finance in a couple construction companies. I have volunteered with the Minnesota Dept. of Transportation to simplify regulations for transporting individuals with disabilities. I graduated with distinction from the Jack Welch Management Institute's MBA program with an overall GPA of 3.85. I am currently the President/CEO of Blue Steel Technologies, Inc. Since taking on this roll, we have become a member of the Electrical Association and the Minnesota Utility Contractors Association (MUCA). We are a SDVOSB certified distributor of low voltage, utility and fiber optic construction materials. We have expanded our operations to 16 states and we have the goal to expand to every state and territory. We have grown from carrying 3 product lines to carrying 15 product lines that include Copperhead Industries, Advanced Digital Cable, Rath Communications, Wavenet, ABA Cabling, Endot Industries, Kendall Howard, Structured Cable Products, Viking Drill and Tool, Miller Trailers, Simply45, HandyStraps, Mircom, and SimplyTest. Each year we volunteer at the "Day of the Dozers" and this year, we are hoping to become sponsors in this event. The event itself if held by many great companies and managed by MUCA. All of the proceeds benefit Minnesota Childrens Hospital. On top of that, it's a fun event where kids can operate large machinary such as backhoes, dumptrucks, and bulldozers.
