I am a Calgary-based filmmaker who believes in the power of great stories. My vision is to entertain and inspire people around the world. My mission is to grow our film and video production community by promoting strategic thinking, collaboration and open knowledge-sharing.In 2008, I co-founded Full Swing Productions with Matt Watterworth. What started as a passion project to hone our skills has become our full time focus with creative, corporate and promotional filmmaking. Beyond our technical expertise and creative abilities, our unique experience in Strategic Marketing and Social Media increases the impact and effectiveness of every video we collaborate on.As a filmmaker, my specialties are in Screenwriting, Directing and Producing, and I have created content in all of those capacities for Television Broadcast Commercials, Web Commercials, Web Series, Event Videos, Corporate Profiles, Training Videos, Kickstarter Videos, Music Videos, Behind-the-Scenes featurettes, Short Films and Full-length Feature Films. Finally, with years spent as a Communications Strategist in a Calgary marketing firm, my expertise has expanded to include branding, marketing strategy development and execution, event planning, media planning, website creation, SEO, Social Media management and budget management, among a great many others. My work in my final year was nominated for 12 SAM Awards, including best New Moving Media (for a web series), Best Website and Marketing Campaign of the Year.I am a public speaker on the topics of Filmmaking, Marketing and Crowdfunding, and am always looking for new opportunities to share, collaborate and make new friends.
