I was an independent provider of CFO services to multiple companies on a part time basis. The following companies transitioned to VCFO clients upon my joining VCFO, Dallas Draperies, a custom manufacturer serving the hospitality industry, Lingualcare, a orthodontic technology and custom manufacturing start-up and Pat Summerall Productions, a corporate image firm.

Malibu was a public company (AMEX: MBE) and one of the most innovative operators of location-based entertainment centers in America operating under the brands SpeedZone, Malibu Grand Prix and Mountasia with 22 locations in eight states and approximately 1,100 peak season employees. I oversaw the areas of strategic planning, finance, accounting and financial reporting (public), legal, real estate, IT, HR, risk management, investor relations and the sale of the company.

Beltway is a commercial real estate development firm with other small business investments. In the commercial real estate area, I functioned as a Controller and managed the accounting, administrative, tax and other financial aspects of a significant portfolio of restaurant, retail, office, warehouse, manufacturing and raw land properties. I also was President of an entity that operated quality men’s clothing stores in three states and President of an entity involved in production of live sporting events.
