Scott Whybin is the Chairman and Regional Executive Creative Director of WHYBIN/TBWA Australasia. His agency network was the most awarded Australasian network at Cannes 2014. It was also the most dominant agency at this years ADMA awards, and has been awarded both Ad Agency and Network of the Year and Australian B&T Agency of the Year three years in a row.Scott started his career in Newcastle before joining Forbes Macfie Mitchell Hansen in Sydney in 1980.In 1983 he went to London to work for Abbott Mead Vickers before returning to Australia in 1984 as a Senior Writer at the Campaign Palace Melbourne.In 1987 he was appointed Creative Director of Mojo in the USA.But again followed his heart back to the Campaign Palace where he was appointed Creative Director.He stayed as Creative Director of the Campaign Palace for a further 7 years.In 1995 he founded Whybin TBWA Australia where he’s been happy building what is now a $600 million network in 3 cities.Scott has been the recipient of many high profile industry awards making him one of Australia's most decorated and highly respected creative's. As a Writer and Creative Director, Scott has won 5 Australian Commercial of the Year Awards. He’s also won 2 Newspaper Ads of the Year (Chairman’s Awards).Not to mention a couple of Best of Shows at AWARD, numerous Cannes Lions, Award pencils, D&AD’s, Caxton’s, etc, etc.In fact, when the Australian industry judged the top 10 of ads of the last 25 years, five of them had Scott’s name on them. Including being Creative Director of the best commercial in 50 years on Australian Television: Antz Pantz.In 2012, Scott was inducted into the Hall of Fame at AWARD for his work at The Campaign Palace and also received the Lifetime Achievement Award in the same year for Melbourne Art Directors Club.In 2015, Scott was inducted into the AdNews Hall of Fame.
