I am a Partner with Clifton Budd & DeMaria, LLP, where I provide local, regional and national employers with a full spectrum of labor and employment law representation. Utilizing my background in business and human resources management, I offer clients comprehensive solutions to legal problems by regularly advising on day-to-day legal issues, employment policies, handbooks and management training seminars.I have successfully represented clients in matters before the National Labor Relations Board, labor arbitration, union organizing, contract negotiation, unlawful discrimination and harassment, leave law, breach of contract, defamation and wage and hour claims. I have also defended clients in investigations and actions before several government agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Department of Labor and their state and local counterparts.I received my law and MBA (Human Resources Management) degrees from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and my BBA degree from the University of Notre Dame.I am a member of the American Bar Association. I am also a Professional Member of the Society for Human Resources Management. I have been a contributing author to SHRM's HR Magazine and the American Bar Association's FMLA Midwinter Report.I also participate in pro bono work for organizations including the Pro Bono Partnership and have been recognized by the Connecticut Bar Association's Honor Roll for my contributions. I am also a Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Directors for ARI of Connecticut, Past Chairman of the Town of Trumbull Economic and Community Development Commission, and a past member of the Leadership Greater Bridgeport Board of Directors.
