Leading the HR function of the organisation, and heading up the administrative support & IT teams.

Contributing to the company wide strategy as a part of the Senior Management Team and leading the development and delivery of the people strategy.Leading on change management: Supporting managers and business leaders in effectively implementing and consulting on change intiatives.Ensuring effective workforce planning through effeicent recruitment, role design, restructuring, and well managed TUPE projects.Development of CPD programmes in conjunction with regulatory and departmental requirements.Creation of an effective recruitment strategy.Leading on the development of new HR systems, processes, and effective use of information systems, with a commitment to continuous improvement.Informed decision making on reward and compensation for our people based on sector benchmarking, and business need.

Working closely with partner college to design and update employment policies, procedures, and streamline processes. Support to managers in applying and interpreting policies. Management of ER cases and consultations with staff.Leading on administration of HR function. Coordination of the recruitment and selection process for new appointments. Supporting of change initiatives, including restructuring, business processes, and new policy initiatives.Management of the HR support service to the Company, including management of an HR Assistant.

Running the admistrative support of the HR function for the Company, including production of reports relating to ER and absence. Implementing improvements to data recording processes and enuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations such as GDPR.Providing first line support to managers across a number of HR, and other general support, matters.

Temporary placement promoting an upcoming HR focused conference.- Calling suspects with an aim to increase awareness of the event and increase ticket sales both on the call and via the website.- Sending out emails and following up on the phone with prospects who have either spoken with us before or have received an email, with an aim to convert them to a customer.

- Management - Setting up robust systems to include coordination with the sister company’s office in Dubai, assuming the MD’s role when required, significant input in major company decisions, ensuring there is adequate cover during leave, authorising paid leave, allocating incoming work, ongoing maintenance and support for the IT.- Marketing - Producing marketing plans and strategies, planning and creating emails, managing AdWord accounts, reporting results.- Training - Training all staff in the day to day processes of the business, training staff on software, including web based products.- Accounts - Use of Sage 50 to check outstanding balances and average payment days.- Procurement - A deep understanding of the order process from enquiry through to shipping.- Export - An understanding of the export/import procedures for select countries and producing all shipping documentation for export shipments.- Web Development - Briefing on required design, overseeing contractors, updating content, troubleshooting and developing aspects of several sites. Adjusting and creating site content with SEO in mind.

- Pursuing sales leads through phone calls, emails and mail.- Setting up and using Microsoft Access database to produce reports and track current progress.- Upgrading the IT systems in the business, including adding a server and configuring applications.

- Building and managing the website.- Preparing and presenting reports on a weekly basis.- Setting up TasBooks, inputting invoices and arranging payments.

- Checking and placing the bread orders during the weekends.- Filling shelves and operating the tills.- Authorising age related sales.
