John Barnes is the founder of the Myofascial Seminars and this approach. He was also my mentor and teacher since 1996. In 1999 I began to instruct his seminars alongside him. Within 3 years I had begun to co-ordinate these seminars with him. This involved leading his team of instructors whom assist him to teach the manual bodywork techniques.In 2008 I began teaching his introductory seminar MFR 1 and the Fascial Pelvis class, with my own team of instructors whom he has assigned to help me. It is with great honor and humility that I held this position through 2014 when I moved on to other interests, prioritizing time with family and my Home Based Business in addition to the 2 PT practicesBarnes also invited me to instruct alongside him at his most advanced course called MFR 3 "Beyond Technique", in Sedona, as well as the new seminar titled Quantum Leap which was first in Key West, Jan 2009.However, in 2014 I stopped teaching with barnes because he stubbornly refused to recognize the importance of nutrition in health. He openly refuses to eat ANYthing green or vegetables! (which unfortunately means he won't live as long as he could, to teach his important lifework on MFR); and when he tried to alter the way I practice my values, we had to divorce! All for the better!
